Final Reflection of the Course

In my opinion the program of the course is very interactive, allows multiple forms of learning, progressive and constant, in addition that the classes are very fun and entertaining, the Professor is very professional in their field of teaching and help resolve questions that arise in an effective way and level; the companions are very intelligent and have helped me to overcome my levels of learning to grow in my vocabulary and ease of learning the language.

As for the supporting material has been a little difficult to work with him, because that is difficult to take the books and do the exercises that often is not understood that it is what is required to do, in terms of the themes, have been varied, we share different points of view about human evolution for example, violence, abortion, travel, life stories, phobias; While we are of different races, we have been able to attach to the subject altogether and evolutionarily share classes.

Some of the themes that I remember and that I've liked to perform, such as racism, migration, in which leaving group outside of the classroom to carry out an activity on the topic, other interesting topics for my were as expensive toys that people buy or inventions like robots bar tender, and even hazardous jobs such as repairing power lines from a helicopter was amazing never imagine that that kind of so risky work had very important issues as the contamination of air, water, Earth, Sonic, visual, also compared Costa Ricans with other cultures such as the American, mainly on punctuality and economic area are very different places that we should be aware of before die as Peru, China, Arizona, Australia, Venezuela, Viet Nam, Egypt, Cambodia; We also made vacation packages all-inclusive at places here in Costa Rica, among other things, an activity that I liked was when we simulate being on a deserted island and in Group had to choose from a list of 20 things important that we should take only 3 and choose a Cadillac, a machete and rice beans and corn, it was fun had a great time that day. 

The course was very enriching for me I learned not only English but also other interesting things I could share and meet new people.

Having dreams is not enough, we must fight for them, must dream and work hard to achieve them, your goals and priorities should be in relation to the objective you are persecuting.

The perfect job is not where you wins better, but where you feel fine yourself and allow have time with your family and can do everything that you want. 

Work is very important personal area for personal fulfillment and a good job must be permit to save money for go to vacation, to travel to place where you can relax and enjoy with the family and it is important share with the family and spend quality time and have good balance in the life.  

A job in an add-in to be made as people, life is very important to maintain an order between all areas of our life to be happy and live each day with enthusiasm to fight for our dreams.

Finally, is not the same having a job to live that live to a Job. For this reason, think always if you are in the correct place and in the correct job.

 Correction 

  Short history

Life is beautiful and perfect, however sometimes do not enjoy it as we should, it is important to say: "thank you for life", every day because God brings health and with her blessing in our lives.

We always go through life and don't think what should I do here? We must not run but go step by step to be able to live in peace, without stress, to have good health, not to go too fast for life and stop and say... "all is well" Nothing worries me, I feel happy, it is also essential to smile with others, help and give things to others since it is good for the heart, but with love in order to then receive, this is the law of life, "give to get".

Life is sometimes short and don’t have the time to enjoy the little things of life, which are the most valuable, for example, never know when we will die, share with family, friends, and special people, have a coffee, go out to eat, go to the beach, are things that we must practice and learn to enjoy you have to live in the present, not to think so much in the morning though it is important, it is not the only, it is not impossible to be happy only must decide so and fight to achieve it.

Learning Log



In the first week of school I felt a little lost, and I had a long time not to bring subjects of English, I have some difficulties to understand and respond, but it is important to persevere and attend classes and practice vocabulary to learn to communicate in the classroom with the teacher and classmates during class.

During the second week I realized that it is necessary to listen to audio, watch videos and practice grammar because the pronunciation of some words is difficult, teachers make a very interactive class and that is good and different, peers are good people and I have helped.

The third week of school was interesting, the teacher makes us repeat words until you say correctly, we put videos and conversations with colleagues of different issues, but the times are a little tired and do not know much books but it will all right.

Week four could not go to class, because I was not feeling well, but I hope this does not affect my performance and get on with the course, the teacher left work and I have to catch up and meet it.

Week Five: vocabulary increases, I'm taking the advice of the teacher, I see fables in English, movies, news, to sharpen my ear, subjects in class are interesting, classes are long but entertaining, sometimes want to participate more in class but I forget some words, I need to practice more.

Six Week, this week has been very interactive, the teacher tries to keep us busy without getting bored, vocabulary increases, group work is very interesting, every week you have to add information to the blog of everything we do in class.

During the seven week we have been working on the books in class, also the conversation has increased in the group, we talk about different issues such as pollution, migrants, family, inventions, survival and the teacher has been correcting our writing because we make many grammatical errors.

 Eight Week : Week eight, the course was interesting, every weeks we do different activities with the class mates, for example, this Friday we completed the books and we work in vocabulary and pronunciation, next day we had to make a work about a place in Costa Rica, where we can go to vacations, in my group we choose one vacation pack in Santa Teresa´s beach in Cobano Puntarenas, in the Macarena’s hotel ,  this include three days and two night with breakfast, lunch and dinner; Also we can do others things for distraction and have a fun day, like a sport fishing, kayaking, scuba diving, ride horse on the beach and see the spectacular sunset, where the sun fall slowly. This place is beautiful and ideal to relax and breathe fresh air.

 The teacher reviews the E-blog and said we should add more information for this week.

Week nine: course has advanced quickly, we have been practicing vocabulary and grammar, doing the exercises in the books, we talk much in class and that makes us to talk more fluently, another week there are no classes, for which Easter is celebrated and University closes, colleagues opened a group of WhatsApp, want to organize a party to share probably when I finish the course.

 Week ten, this week were much practicing the pronunciation of some words in time past, and future, share anecdotes among the companions and did internships in the books, also set out important topics about technologies, important and risky jobs, also saw interesting videos about inventions not very common and spectacular places to visit.

This week we have been practicing vocabulary and grammar fixes, we have made progress with the work material and also practiced much in group, my colleagues are very special, joke and make fun comments that makes the class interesting, the Professor always surprises us with different activities, this week we share personal experiences and made interesting comments on different issues like abortion, abuse, human evolution, and could expose different points of view.

Week twelve, fast-forward day, this week was quiet, we did some practice books and we did quick reading activities and we also share opinions about different topics Professor put some questions to Exchange answers, we did one practices to strengthen vocabulary also saw grammatical forms and comparisons.

Week thirteen, already missing little so you finish the semester, this week the professor has put us to practice grammar and vocabulary, to translate from Spanish to English and English to Spanish, to exhibit spontaneous cases to practice for the final exam, because I feel nervous, I hope to pass the exam, try to take advantage of the time remaining to practice what we have seen in class.

 Now only missing two weeks, to finish this semester the days pass quickly when one is truly busy, I was not even aware, these weeks have been quite hectic and the schedule is heavy, however they have been beneficial, learning is good, the teacher is an excellent professional, I would have liked carry the previous with the courses, surely would be best bases and would be easier for me all, but good to take advantage of the time remaining and practice..!
